Bo (or: boh) is a small word (almost a sound) that in very informal Italian replaces the phrase: I don't know / Non So.
It can be used in a sarcastic way. Its characteristic is that we often think “bo” is universal and we can say it while speaking other languages.
Exemple:- Dove sono le chiavi? / Where are the keys?
